New Delhi: The Supreme Court Wednesday said it would hear former Gujarat minister Amit Shah’s plea to be allowed to enter the state together with the CBI petition seeking cancellation of his bail granted by the Gujarat High Court Oct 29, 2010.
The apex bench headed by Justice Aftab Alam said this when Amit Shah’s plea was mentioned before the court for an early hearing.
It may be recalled that the apex court while declining the CBI plea to cancel Shah’s bail had on Oct 30, 2010, directed Shah to stay away from territorial limits of Gujarat.
The CBI had added Amit Shah as an accused in the Sohrabuddin Shaikh fake encounter case.
