Kumble’s spin partner Harbhajan Singh will also create a record if he scores 14 runs to join Vinoo Mankad, Kapil Dev, Ravi Shastri, Javagal Srinath besides his captain to complete a double of 1000 runs and hundred wickets.

Meanwhile, another record awaits Sachin Tendulkar when he reaches 25 to overtake Australian Allan Border’s Test aggregate of 11,174 runs with only West Indian Brian Lara ahead of him at 11,953 runs.

Tendulkar is also all set to play his 100th innings at home and will become only the second Indian player after Sunil Gavaskar (108) to do so.
