Beijing : At least 12 vehicles collided in icy conditions on a highway in China, killing three people and injuring three others, officials said.
The accident took place around 6 a.m. in the Pingba county section of the Shanghai-Kunming expressway in southwest Guizhou province, Xinhua reported.
Rescuers said there was ice on the road and visibility was poor. It took around two hours for them to pull two injured people out of the damaged vehicles.
