Lima : A fire in a Peru education ministry warehouse destroyed 500,000 textbooks and 61,000 laptops meant for distribution to students, authorities said.
The Thursday night took 11 hours to control, with 10 firemen injured, Xinhua reported. The loss was estimated at over $100 million.
