Sharjah : A UAE blood donation centre has collected over 3,000 units of blood in collaboration with the University of Sharjah in the first quarter of 2012.
Mahra Al Marzouqie, director of the Blood Transfusion and Research Centre, said some 3,883 units of blood were collected through mobile blood banks from January to March.
The project received overwhelming response, she said.
