Kolkata : India’s tennis sensation Sania Mirza halted traffic in the heart of Kolkata Wednesday during the launch of an out-of-home brand campaign of a soft drink.
Around 12.30 p.m., the star unveiled a giant hoarding of Sprite, the drink brand of Coca Cola, in the happening Park Street-Rawdon Street crossing in central Kolkata as thousands cheered her. Sania smiled and waved at the crowds.
She later visited other areas in the city, including the sprawling City Centre in Salt Lake, to add fizz to the soft drink campaign. Youngsters gathered in large numbers for a glimpse of the player.
