Islamabad : The principal of a government college in Karachi in Pakistan was Wednesday assaulted by activists of two student groups after he tried to stop them from cheating during an examination.
Waseem Adil of the National Government College said he was attacked because of the measures he had put in place to prevent cheating during the intermediate exams, Geo News reported.
Adil’s clothes were torn and his office was ransacked by the activists.
In protest, the Sindh Professor and Lecturers Association has announced a boycott of exams from Thursday.
