Patna : The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Monday announced a plan to launch a state-wide agitation against what he called the Nitish Kumar-led Bihar government’s failure on all fronts, including law and order and corruption.
RJD chief Lalu Prasad said: “When Nitish Kumar came to power in 2010, he promised a crime-free state in three months but today the law and order has collapsed…”
“People are fed up with it,” he said at a press conference here after his party’s national executive meeting.
Lalu Prasad said that Nitish Kumar had betrayed the people by doing nothing to improve the power sector or the education sector.
There was rampant corruption in the rural jobs scheme and the rural road scheme, he said.
