Washington : The US Wednesday launched a spy satellite into space.
An Atlas V rocket, carrying the satellite for the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), lifted off from Cape Canaveral in Florida, the air force said.
Details of the satellite, its mission and whether it reached orbit were not released due to security reasons, Xinhua reported.
