Pratapgarh: Large scale violence and arson was reported when nearly 35 houses of Muslims were set on fire in a village at Pratapgarh district on Saturday. The violence erupted when villagers set afire houses of Muslims to revenge the alleged rape and death of a dalit girl.
Violence has displaced a number of families that are forced to take shelter in a local school.
