Aligarh: The Centre for Promotion of Science, Aligarh Muslim University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Vigyan Prasar, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India to facilitate collaboration in printing and publishing science resource material in Urdu.
A team of Vigyan Prasar headed by its Director, Mr. Sandeep Barua visited Aligarh Muslim University and signed the MoU on behalf of Vigyan Prasar along with the AMU Registrar, Group Captain (Retired) Shahrukh Shamshad and Director, Centre for Promotion of Science, Dr. Fatima Shujatullah, informed Dr. Rahat Abrar, Public Relations Officer, AMU.

The MoU will facilitate cooperation of both the organizations in printing and publishing science resource material in Urdu language for use in Urdu medium schools and Deeni Madrasas, Dr. Abrar added.
