Patna: After every terror blast in last 10 years in the country, Muslim youths were picked as suspects and masterminds and hundreds of them are still languishing in jails awaiting trial of their cases. However, blasts have continued to occur at regular interval – the latest is the serial low-intensity blast in Pune on 1st August. The obvious question is: Who are behind these blasts? Author and columnist Prof. Ram Puniyani says terror blasts have continued to occur because police have not probed cases professionally. The police and intelligence agencies have bias and lack professionalism, he says.
Talking to TCN on the sidelines of a program on Monday in Patna, Ram Puniyani said Muslims were arrested after blasts in Malegaon, Ajmer Dargah, Mecca Masjid and Samjhauta Express and others, but the nation knew later, thanks to the probe of Hemant Karkare, that Hindutva extremists were behind these blasts – RSS worker Aseemanand has admitted this all. Prof. Puniyani says that blasts continued because innocents were being arrested while culprits were roaming free.

On the sudden outbreak of communal violence in different parts of the country – from UP to Assam – Prof. Ram Puniyani said Sangh organizations are the main culprit behind communalism and communal violence in the country. It is their planning to trigger communal clashes which will help them grow and move them towards power.

Besides, Sangh groups, the government is also responsible as it didn’t do to check communal forces. Government officials are also responsible as being biased they allow communal clashes to take place for days.
