Metropolitan Magistrate Neeraj Gaur sought an action taken report from Delhi Police till Sep 21.

The court was hearing Delhi-based lawyer Prem Shankar Sharma’s plea against Thackeray.

Sharma requested the court to issue directions to lodge a case against Thackeray for provocative and anti-national speech.

The complaint alleged that Thackeray threatened Bihar natives that they would be pushed out of Maharashtra.

“Thackeray’s remarks that Bihar natives who have been living in Maharashtra shall be kicked out from Maharashtra were defaming and that his provocative statement is against national integration as the Indian constitution has given the right to any person to live anywhere in the country peacefully,” said Sharma.
