Ghaziabad : Three motorcycle-borne armed robbers looted Rs.785,000 from a grain trader here Monday.
Police said Shyam Sundar Gupta left his shop in Govindpuram at 2.30 p.m. to deposit the money in a bank.
The criminals intercepted him, hit him with a pistol butt and snatched the bag. As they escaped, they dropped the pistol’s magazine, Senior Superintendent of Police Prashant Kumar said.
