Gurgaon : For the safety of its residents, real estate developer DLF has tied up with an Israeli security consultancy and organised special self-defence classes for women Friday, a company official said.
The Women Empowerment and Self Defence Classes programme was organised for residents of DLF-5 and focussed on security awareness, prevention and reaction using situational awareness and quick reaction for prevention or escape.
Aakash Ohri, director, business development, DLF, said: “The safety and security of our resident is of paramount importance to us and this will go a long way in our effort to upgrade the security of DLF-5 to a world-class level. As earlier, we will actively work with the police and other government authorities to make this a reality.”
