Abu Dhabi : UAE charity Red Crescent Authority (RCA) will spend 20 million dirhams ($5.4 million) in foreign aid this year, it announced Sunday.
The amount will be spent to finance projects in healthcare, education, sanitation and drinking water in countries such as Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Yemen, Somalia, Senegal, Sudan, Uganda and Burkina Faso, among others.
The RCA Sunday considered applications for assistance from 18 countries.
