India win toss, elect to bat in Bangalore Test

Bangalore : India won the toss and elected to bat in the third and final cricket Test of the three match series against Pakistan at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium here Saturday.

India effected four changes in the XI that played in the second Test in Kolkata. They left out Sachin Tendulkar, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Zaheer Khan and Munaf Patel due to injuries and included Gautam Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh, Irfan Pathan and Ishant Sharma.

Pakistan replaced Sohail Tanveer with Yasir Arafat, who is making his debut.

India lead the series 1-0.
