DSIIDC to hold ‘Days of Moscow’ in Delhi

New Delhi : The Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corp (DSIIDC) is organising “Days of Moscow” festival here Oct 26-29 that will see cultural, business and fashion events.

According to a DSIIDC spokesman, business representatives from India and Russia will interact Friday to identify sectors for enhanced mutual cooperation.

A fashion show will be organised by Valentin Yudashkin, a renowned Russian designer, Sunday. “A vibrant canvas of Russian fashion will be showcased,” the spokesman said.

Relations between India and Russia are strategic in nature, characterized by friendship, mutual trust and confidence, a DSIIDC statement said.

Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit visited Russia in 2002 and signed a joint statement with the Mayor of Moscow to have mutual cooperation in fields of common interest between the two cities.

The Delhi government organised a cultural festival, trade and industry round table by organising “Days of Delhi” in Moscow in 2006.
