Jaipur: A joint prayer and protest was organized by Rajasthan Muslim Forum to make the two decade of destruction of Babri Masjid.
National Secretary of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Er. M. Saleem called the destruction of historical Babri Masjid a terrorist incident. He also recalled that from putting the idols in the mosque to its destruction, all the incidents happened during Congress rule.
Advocate P, Farooq of Association for Protection of Civil Rights (APCR), Qari Moinuddin of Rajasthan Muslim Forum, Advocate Aamir Azeez, Popular Front of India’s state president Mohammad Shafi, Forum’s members Habib Garnet and Abdul Lateef also spoke on the occasion.
A resolution passed on the occasion recorded their dismay that even after twenty years courts have not been able to charge the accused. The resolution asked for fast-tracking all cases related to Babri Masjid and its destruction. They also demanded punished those held responsible for destruction by the Liberhan Commission.
The resolution also asked everyone to maintain peace and harmony and resolved to continue the struggle to rebuild Babri Masjid.
