Havana : Cuba has reopened its oldest hydro-power station set up a century ago, Xinhua reported Tuesday.
The power station built in 1912 in Pinar del Rio province was reopened after receiving Chinese equipment. It is one of the oldest hydro-power stations in Latin America.
The repair work had started in 2010. The station can generate 270 kwh of electricity.
