Islamabad : At least eight people were killed in Pakistan’s Balochistan province Wednesday when the car they were travelling in collided head-on with a truck, a media report said.
The accident occurred in the morning in the provincial capital city of Quetta, Xinhua reported.
According to Dunya TV, three people died on the spot while five others, including two children, were critically injured in the accident. All the wounded succumbed to their injuries in hospital.
Police said the accident was the result of over-speeding by the vehicles.
