The party’s Chhattisgarh unit chief Nand Kumar Patel accused the state government of running away from discussion on the subject in the budget session of the assembly.

Patel alleged that ruling party members were grabbing land of poor farmers and selling them to industrialists at high prices.

He claimed that “swallowing” of government land in Madhaura village in Bilaspur district could not have happened without the involvement of influential people from the BJP.

The opposition has many evidences and details regarding the said land deals, he said.
