New Delhi: A Delhi court Saturday granted bail to 12 Aam Aadmi Party workers arrested from outside a police station here for protesting against alleged lax probe into a woman’s gang-rape.
The accused were arrested June 19 night while agitating outside Gokulpuri police station in east Delhi over alleged inaction by investigators over the gang-rape of a woman from Bihar.
Metropolitan Magistrate Harleen Singh granted bail to the 12 accused after advocates Shanti Bhushan and Somnath Bharti appeared for the accused.
