Moscow : Russian President Vladimir Putin is jointly producing a judo DVD for beginners with a Japanese Olympic winner, the Interfax news agency reported Sunday.
“Together we shot a film as a supplement to a textbook that is to appear on the market in the coming January or February,” Putin said at the opening of a Toyota car factory in his hometown of St. Petersburg.
The president, a black belt in judo, was characterized by his first trainer, Anatoli Rakhlin, as a “not especially powerful, but persevering” fighter.
He is renowned in the sport for the unpredictability of his manoeuvres.
