Kuala Lumpur : At least 37 people were killed after a tourist bus plunged into a ravine near Malaysia’s Genting Highlands resort Wednesday in one of the worst road accidents in a decade in the country, reported Xinhua.
The bus, carrying 53 people including the driver, went off a cliff and plunged at least 30 meters into the ravine when it was travelling downhill from the hilltop resort in the afternoon.
Police said at least three foreigners were in the bus, including one Chinese.
