Bahrain to tackle terrorism: PM

    Manama: Bahrain’s Prime Minister Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has said his government will tackle the climate which generates terrorism.

    He said his government will do so through a number of measures including stepping up punishment for terror instigators and reviewing their eligibility to hold the Bahraini citizenship.

    Addressing a security and civil session to follow up progress in implementing the recommendations of the National Assembly to toughen up punishment for terrorism and protect the society, the prime minister also urged to beef up regulations to prevent funding for terrorism.

    He pledged to implement the recommendations of the National Assembly so that Bahrain remains a model of security, stability, and tolerance.
