Melbourne : Australian captain Ricky Ponting declared the second innings at 351 for seven and set a 499-run target for India to win the first Test match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) here Friday.
Michael Clarke was the top scorer with 73 while opening batsman Phil Jaques made 51. Harbhajan Singh picked up three wickets in the second innings.
