Gaza, Dec 29 (Prensa Latina) The selective killings staged by Israeli forces against Palestinian resistance members took more victims a few hours before holding a meeting between the two parties for reaching peace deals.
At least eight militias died in the last few hours as a result of the Tel Aviv attacks in the occupied territories, Palestinian sources reported.
A top leader in the Islamic Jihad armed wing al Qudes in Gaza Strip, Muhammed Abdallah, 41, and a bodyguard of Palestinian negotiator Ahmed Qurea were among the dead.
The top-ranking security official, Mu’atasam Sharif al-Mahdi, was killed by Israeli gunfire near Ramallah.
Israeli sources claim that the bodyguard was carrying a handgun, which made Israeli soldiers mistake him for a fighter.
But Palestinian eyewitnesses report that the soldiers gunned down al-Mahdi in cold blood.
Israel has proven once more that it does not want the security plan the Palestinian Authority is implementing in the West Bank to succeed.
