Mumbai : A key financial market index opened with a loss of 62 points Thursday and dropped further in the wake of heavy selling.
The 30-share sensitive index (Sensex) of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) opened 62 points down at 20,403.91, against the previous close of 20,465.30 points.
The broader 50-share S&P CNX Nifty index of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) opened flat at 6,184.25 points, against the previous close of 6,179.40.
