Gaza : Two Palestinians were killed and four others were wounded early Friday morning in clashes with Israeli special forces who had infiltrated the village of Beit Hanoun, northern Gaza Strip.
In a statement, Ezzidin Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, identified the dead Palestinians as Mohammad Awad Al-Kafarna and Mohammad Nasr Al-Kafarna.
The two men were on watch when the Israeli troops infiltrated the area and the two sides engaged in an armed conflict, which also resulted in the wounding of four Palestinians, according to the brigades.
It said the Palestinian activists were able to detonate an anti-personnel explosive device during the clashes.
With this, the number of Palestinians killed in Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours comes to 11, with some 50 others wounded.
