Kolkata : Trinamool Congress Rajya Sabha member Srinjoy Bose, arrested by the CBI in connection with the multi-crore rupee Saradha scam, was Monday admitted to a hospital, a doctor said.
Bose, who pressed for his bail Saturday on health grounds but was refused and remanded to judicial custody till Dec 5, complained of heart-related ailments Sunday night.
He was admitted to the government-run S.S.K.M. hospital.
“He complained of heart-related problems last night (Sunday) following which he was admitted Monday morning,” said a S.S.K.M. hospital doctor.
