Guwahati: Global Rainbow Foundation (GRF), known for its various developmental works world-wide, has expressed its willingness to work together with Assam’s Ajmal Foundation to spread education among the poor people.
Taking part in a seminar GRF founding chairman Armoogum Parsuramen said that they are ready to extent any kind of support for higher education in this part of the country.

“We want to work together with Ajmal Foundation in the field of higher Education and we are ready to extend the necessary support from the Global Rainbow Foundation. Mauritius has a very friendly relation with India and both the countries are focusing in the field of education,” said Parsuramen.
He was speaking during a seminar – ‘Role of Teachers in Mentoring Future Indian Leaders’ organized by the Ajmal Foundation at Maryam Ajmal Women’s College of Science and Technology, in Nagaon district’s Hojai.
“To nurture the young future leaders through education we have to work together in more collective manner by using the different tools of education system,” he said.
Highlighting the role of teachers Parsuramen said, “The teachers should be more responsible in their profession. It’s impossible to produce quality leaders without quality teachers”.
Talking about the contemporary educational scenario, with special reference to Northeast India, the key note speaker Raj Vakil Siddiqui, member of National Minorities Education Committee, said, “There should not be any compromise in quality education and take all measures to achieve it”.
Siddiqui added that a student centric approach in teaching is most effective way to achieve quality education.
Natrajan Ganesh, coordinator of Scientific Division, Medical Research SAARC Society International, Himanshu Dave, advisor of Cord Blood Bank, SAARC Society International, Monir Uddin Ahmed, leading agro scientism, Khasrul Islam, manager of Ajmal Foundation also addressed the occasion.
All the Principals, faculty members and the students of Ajmal Group of Colleges were also present in the occasion.
