Shimla : Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh will inaugurate the 17th national conference of chairpersons of state public service commissions here on Saturday.
More than 24 chairpersons, including Union Public Service Commission Chairman Deepak Gupta, will attend the conference.
Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission Chairman K.S. Tomar said in a statement here that issues like legal protection to the commission’s chairpersons and members, introduction of information technology-related reforms and preservation of credibility of these institutions would be discussed.
