New Delhi: “Yuva Kranti” organised a round-table discussion on Yemen on May 2 in the national capital. The title of the round-table was “New Geopolitical equations in middle east with focus on recent bombing of Yemen by Saudi Arabia”.
Iranian ambassador Dr. Ansari, Syrian cultural minister, Former Indian Foreign Secretary Muchkund Dubey, Hannan Mollah, Mohsin Taqvi, Dr Rakesh rafiq, TV actor Abaas Haider, among others attended the seminar.
Iran Ambassador to India Dr Gholamreza Ansari said that USA does not seem to have any policy regarding Middle East, adding Iran is ready to play a constructive role in there.
Muchkund Dubey said that India need to pressurize the UN for reforms in their system but instead India is asking only for a permanent seat. It will be better if there are reforms in present UN nations.
