Kota (Rajasthan): Focusing on the unity of Muslim community, Dr Mohammed Naeem Falahi, Associate Professor, Government College, Bari, expressed his views on the role of a masjid in this regard and also said, women should be part of masjids with a separate arrangement for them.
Falahi was delivering the scholarly Juma Khutba that energized the minds of the audience at the inaugural ceremony of the Islamic Centre, Kota here on Friday, June 12, 2015.

The ceremony, attended by hundreds of men and women, began with the inaugural words by Yusuf Raaz Sahab. Quazi Anwar Ahmed, shahar quazi, Kota, led the Juma prayer and enlightened the Centre with its very first Namaz. Quazi Ahmed also delivered the speech and expressed serious concern over the condition of ummah in present time, a release from the Centre said.

The Islamic Centre has a well-ventilated masjid with separate section for men and women; a library, a career guidance cell to help students enrolled with various coaching institutions in Kota and a large conference hall to facilitate various gatherings and programmes. A temporary staying arrangement will also be provided at the Centre in future.
In addition, a Dawah Centre (Islam Darshan Kendra) for the non-Muslim brothers devoted to spread the message of Islam. The management also requested capable persons to financially support the noble initiative, the release added.
