Patna: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the new campus of Indian Institute of Technology-Patna (IIT-P) on July 25.
“As per the information given by the officials from ministry of human resource development, Modi will inaugurate the IIT-P campus,” IIT-P registrar Subhash Pandey said.
He also said that IIT-P would start functioning from its permanent campus, spread over 500 acres near Bihta, about 35 km from here.
According to IIT-P officials, the new academic session will commence from July 22 and classes would start from July 26.
After the inauguration, Modi will address a public meeting in Muzaffarpur district to kick-off the BJP campaign for the Bihar assembly polls later this year.
