Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): The Madhya Pradesh High Court has directed its employees, including those working at the Indore and Gawalior benches, to wear decent clothes to office.
An order issued by high court registrar Ved Prakash said that some court employees came dressed for office in clothes that did not go well with the dignity of the high court. Thus, the staff was directed to come simply dressed in accordance with office decorum and not wear jeans, T-shirts and gaudy clothes to office.
The order also said that staffers like personal secretaries and assistants and readers should wear white shirt, black trousers and coat along with a necktie to office.
Those flouting the directive were warned of administrative action.
