New Delhi : Britain favours a permanent seat for India in an expanded UN Security Council, visiting Prime Minister Gordon Brown said here Sunday.
He also favoured regular interaction between the G-8 nations and the five permanent members of the UN with India playing a prominent role in the discussions.
Brown also announced the launch of a venture capital fund to promote start-up entrepreneurs both in India and Britain.
Brown was participating in a panel discussion at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) here.
