Mashhad (Iran): Two young Kashmiri seminary students who are presently studying in Al Mustafa International University of Iran participated in the 4th Model Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Summit held at Mashhad city of Iran, where they briefed the participants over the continuing violation of human rights in Kashmir.
Waseem Reza and Syed Owais Abbas Mosavi, both from Srinagar district of Jammu and Kashmir, also spoke over the subjects of human rights, national security, common market and Islamophobia in OIC countries.
The 4th International Model OIC was held from Oct 22 to Oct 28 2016 and saw a participation of over 100 students from 40 top tier Universities in the OIC member states.
“More than 100 days of curfew has crippled the life of common people besides more than 90 people got killed while 12,000 wounded and hundreds have lost their eyesight due to pellet gun,” said Reza at the OIC Summit.
He further informed the participants that Kashmir is a peaceful movement and Kashmiri nation is fighting politically while gun has no role in Kashmir.
“The need of the hour is to resolve the Kashmir dispute through result-oriented dialogue process and implement the UN resolution,” he told TwoCirles.net over an email interview from Iran.

While expressing sorrow and worry over the innocents killings in Kashmir,Syed Owais Abbas Mosavi appealed India and Pakistan to resolve the long-pending Kashmir issue peacefully without wasting time through talks between three parties.
He also condemned the human rights violation across the globe and termed the action of DAESH and other terrorist organisations in Muslims countries as unislamic and inhuman.
On the sidelines of the Conference the two Kashmiri youths also met with Advisor to Turkish PM Ali Osma, President of the fourth Model OIC Summit and others.
The event saw the participation of Iran, the host country, along with countries like Turkey, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Jordan, Iraq, Azerbaijan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Mozambique, Philippines, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Georgia, Somalia, Bangladesh, Egypt, Ghana, Nigeria, Serbia, Uganda, Turkmenistan, Sudan, Yemen, and Lebanon.
The event was attended by Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran Abbas Araqchi, Turkish Parliament Member,Cultural and Islamic Guidance Minister of Iran, Advisor to Turkish PM and many dignitaries of Muslim World.
