New Delhi : Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday alleged that the “whole” of BJP is against demonetisation.
Quoting a tweet that said Gujarat Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders have started raising their voice against demonetisation, Kejriwal said that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Bharatiya Janata Party leaders are “cursing” Prime Minister Narendra Modi in private.
“Whole BJP is against Modi ji’s decision. In private, RSS and BJP people are cursing Modi ji,” Kejriwal tweeted.
Kejriwal’s comments came in response to a tweet that quoted Porbandar MP Vitthal Radadia, of the BJP, as saying that farmers are worst-hit and agricultural produce market committees (APMC) will remain shut for two months due to demonetisation.
The Prime Minister announced demonetisation of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes on November 8.
