New Delhi : India and the US concluded three days of intensive discussions Saturday on carrying forward their civil nuclear energy deal, with Foreign Secretary Shivshankar Menon saying differences on key issues had been narrowed down.
"We are much closer in understanding issues that divide us," Menon said at a press conference here after his talks with US Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs Nicholas Burns on the 123 agreement that will enable the resumption of nuclear commerce with India after a 30-year gap.
