Malappuram: A special police team investigating the murder of Muslim convert P Faisal, have arrested three more RSS activists, including the key accused. The arrest of Prajeesh Babu, Appus and Kuttappu was recorded on Tuesday evening at Tirurangadi police station in Malappuram district. According to police, Prajeesh Babu, who is RSS Karyavahak at Tirur in the same district is the key accused in the case. Babu is alleged to have hacked Faisal while Appus and Kuttappu were arrested for helping him to execute the plan.
Eight BJP-RSS activists, Pullani Vinod, Pullani Sajeesh, Pulikkal Haridasan, Pulikkal Dineshan, Channath Sunni, Kalathil Pradeep, Thayyil Lijesh, and Kottayil Jayaprakash, were earlier arrested by the police team in connection with the case.
Faisal P alias Anil Kumar was hacked to death at Farook Nagar in Kodinhi in the wee hours of November 19. He was brutally murdered for accepting Islam and had faced threats from his family members. The victim was on his way to pick his in-laws from Parappanangadi railway station.
