Adelaide : Sachin Tendulkar, the most experienced Indian Test player touring Australia, has so far aggregated 1,356 runs at 56.50 in 15 Tests since playing his first match against the hosts in 1991-92.
The maestro from Mumbai has scored five centuries and five half-centuries. His unbeaten 241 is his highest on his previous tour Down Under in 2003-04.
V.V.S. Laxman, Rahul Dravid, Sourav Ganguly and captain Anil Kumble, the other senior pros in the team and most probably on their last tour of Australia, are all on their third tour Down Under.
