Kiev : Three miners were hospitalized following a blast in eastern Ukraine, a rescue service spokesman said on Thursday.
The explosion occurred 90 meters down a coal mine in the Donetsk Region where 10 miners were working the night shift early Thursday morning.
This is the latest incident in the coal-rich region, where three blasts in November-December 2007 took the lives of over a hundred mine workers.
The cause of the blast is being investigated.
