Damascus : Syrian Ambassador to Kuwait Ali Abdulkareem indicated Friday that the upcoming visit by Kuwait Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah to Syria on Feb 12 would reinforce bilateral relations.
He told KUNA that the leadership of Syria and Kuwait were eager to boost relations in different spheres, adding that Sheikh Nasser’s visit would surely reflect this desire to reinforce ties between both countries.
Developments in the Arab level would also be on the minds of Kuwaiti and Syrian officials, said Abdulkareem, adding that dealing with the current situation in the region was of paramount importance.
He indicated that Sheikh Nasser would also focus on building financial relations for the welfare of citizens in Kuwait as well as Syria. Sheikh Nasser’s visit will last for two days.
