Two Indians released by Nigerian abductors

Lagos (Nigeria) : Two Indian workers are among 12 foreign hostages released by their abductors in Nigeria.

The hostages were released in the oil producing Nigerian Delta Monday. Militants said it was a humanitarian gesture, BBC reported.

According to reports, the two Indians released are Debashish Kakoty and Sunil Dave.

Ten Indians were kidnapped June 1 from the oil city of Port Harcourt where they were working for an Indonesia-based company Indorama. Two Indians, working for the same company in Port Harcourt, were kidnapped on May 19.

Apart from the Indians, three Americans, five Britons, one Filipino and one South African were also released.
