Ihsanoglu condemned on Friday the attack that left eight Israeli students dead and dozens of others injured at Merkaz Harav Seminary, in Kiryat Moshe district, West Jerusalem, Thursday night.

“We regret Ihsanolu’s remarks that could be manipulated by the Israeli occupation army as a pretext to justify their atrocities against out people,” Hamas spokesman Sami Abu-Zehri said in a press released.

“Ihsanoglu disregarded the fact that the occupied West Jerusalem attack was a reaction to the Israeli ongoing crimes in Gaza Strip.

“His remarks run counter to the natural legitimate right of our people to pursue resistance against the Israeli occupation,” Abu-Zehri underscored.

The spokesman raised his eyebrows at the condemnations of the attack by some Arab leaders especially when the United Nations Security Council failed to do so.

He called on the Arab and Muslim nations to continue offering all possible support for the Palestinian people who bear the brunt of the Israeli aggression in Gaza Strip.
