It also stressed the need for developing administrative organs in the Arab World to ensure integration of early warning systems.

The UAE proposals were made by Rashid Al Hajri, head of Information and Public Relations, Zayed Higher Foundation for Humanitarian Care, before the final session of the 5th Arab forum for administrative development held today in Cairo.

In his paper “Mechanisms and Plans for Response to Disasters and Human and Logistic Preparedness”, Al Hajri said that programmes for management of emergencies in Arab World should be developed to meet challenges.

He outlined the UAE and Foundation’s experiences in voluntary works.

The meeting was organised by the Arab Organisation for Administrative Development.
