Bhopal : Madhya Pradesh Assembly Speaker Ishwardas Rohani Thursday asked the state government to take care of ailing Independent lawmaker Munna Singh and provide him proper medical treatment.
Munna Singh, who is suffering from cancer, told the speaker that he was not able to get proper treatment due to high costs.
Leader of Opposition Jamuna Devi and other legislators said the state government was not providing any aid to him.
The speaker was also informed that three injections costing Rs.122,000 have to be provided to the ailing lawmaker.
Rohani directed Parliamentary Affairs Minister Narottam Mishra to ensure medical arrangement for the lawmaker Thursday itself without any delay.
