Bhopal : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Rajnath Singh had a narrow escape Friday when the aircraft in which he was travelling from Delhi to Sagar in Madhya Pradesh to attend a farmers’ convention developed a snag.
The private aircraft carrying Singh, Madhya Pradesh BJP president Narendra Singh Tomar and a few others made an emergency landing at Bhopal airport.
“The plane could not make a landing at Sagar because its front wheels got stuck,” an airport official said here.
“All passengers are safe and the technical snag which has developed in the aircraft will be removed soon,” said Bhopal Airport Director J.P. Alex.
